The Lowcountry community has long taken pride in our ability and commitment to supporting local businesses throughout every season of the year and it certainly shows within the quality and longevity of all of our coffee shops and cafes!  From coffee beans roasted in house from all over the world, to freshly baked bread, whose smell instantly takes you into a European bakery, the cafes and coffee shops throughout the Lowcountry are truly some of the best!

Beaufort Bakery & Cafe – Beaufort

A true artisan bakery and patisserie right in the heart of Beauford.  Stop in for freshly made bread and pastries that will pair perfectly with your coffee at home or enjoy a relaxing breakfast or brunch with your favorite company!

Beloved Coffee Roasters – Beaufort

This gem in Beaufort is a true local coffee shop with local coffee for purchase to enjoy in-house as well as freshly roasted bags to make at home.  Not only is all of their coffee roasted within the shop but you can always count on them having some of the most diverse beans and flavors in the area!

Carolina Cider Company – St. Helena Island

Carolina Cider Co. prides itself on carrying “the south’s finest products” and they just might not be wrong!  Stop in if you find yourself on St. Helena Island and you’ll instantly fall in love with their variety of handcrafted drinks and pastries/pies!

Carolina Coffee & Crumbs – Hilton Head

A perfect patio to sit, relax, and enjoy your coffee and breakfast while people-watching at Coligny Beach.  Due to its ideal location, it’s also the perfect stop before heading to the beach yourself.

City Java – Beaufort

A casual internet café located within the popular City Loft Hotel.  It's truly the perfect location to grab a quick, yet quality, cup of coffee on your way to work or to enjoy time away from the office and catch up on the day’s news!

Corner Perk – Bluffton

Just a short drive from the mainland side of the bridge to Hilton Head, Corner Perk is everything you’d expect from a quaint brunch café.  If you’re looking for a place to catch up with an old friend, look no further than what has been voted as the best coffee shop in the Lowcountry!  As an added bonus, all of the coffee is roasted on-site.

Hilton Head Social Bakery – Hilton Head

A long-time local favorite that is deserving of its reputation as one of the top-rated in the entire Lowcountry.  The French-style bakery food and beverage menu are the perfect things to enjoy while relaxing on their picturesque patio.

Java Burrito – Hilton Head

A combination unlike any other!  When you visit Java Burrito, you get the best of both worlds – quality, local coffee, and freshly made burritos of every kind.  It’s the perfect place to take your family or your out-of-town guests.

Rain-N-Bagels – Beaufort

The variety of coffee and espresso drinks is delightful but what will keep you coming back are the incredible and fresh bagels!  Enjoy a breakfast sandwich in the house or grab a dozen bagels for home.  Either way, you can’t go wrong!

The Cottage – Bluffton

Getting to see the beauty of this 1860’s cottage is reason enough to visit this Bluffton gem.  Grab a cup of locally roasted coffee and enjoy all of the charm that downtown Bluffton has to offer!

Whether you’re looking for a quick cup of coffee on the way to dropping the kids off at school, or looking for the perfect baked goods on a Sunday morning, the options are endless when living in the Lowcountry.
