The Beaufort Water Festival is Back!!!

After a long year, one of the most anticipated annual events in the Lowcountry is back!  The 65th annual Beaufort Water Festival begins on Friday, July 16th, and will run through Sunday, July 25th.  As always, festival-goers can expect to enjoy endless entertainment, live performances, fun on the water, delicious food, and the ever-popular local craft fair!  There truly is something for every member of the family to enjoy throughout the ten-day festival!

 

Arts and Crafts Market

One of the most anticipated and loved events of the festival is back!  Shop your hearts out while supporting local artisans at the popular festival market! Here are the shopping hours this year:

·        Friday, July 16th- 2:00pm – 7:00pm

·        Saturday, July 17th- 10:00am – 7:00pm

·        Sunday, July 18th- 10:00am – 5:00pm

·        Monday, July 19th – Thursday, July 22nd- 12:00pm – 7:00pm

·        Friday, July 23rd and Saturday, July 24th- 10:00am – 7:00pm

·        Saturday, July 25th- 10:00am – 3:00pm

 

Sports and Water and Air Events

Saturday, July 17th

·        Badminton Tournament at Waterfront Park.  Registration begins at 8:30 am and the tournament will start at 9:00 am. 

·        Bocce Ball Tournament at Waterfront Park Main Field.  Same-day registration begins at 7:30 am and the tournament will start at 8:00 am. 

·        Children’s Toad Fishing Tournament at Waterfront Park – for children ages 12 and under.  The tournament will run from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm and each participant should bring their own pole and tackle.

·        Raft Race at Waterfront Park.  Enjoy the race from 8:30 am – 12:00 pm!

Sunday, July 18th

·        River Rally at Local Waters.  Enjoy the event with the whole family from 9:00am – 1:00 pm.

·        Children’s Day at Waterfront Park.  Your kids will have a wonderful day on the water with games, shows, bouncy houses, prizes, and more!  The event Is from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm. 

·        Waterski Show at Waterfront Park.  Enjoy this free event with the family at 1:00 pm!

Friday, July 23rd

·        Bed Race at Corner of Bay & Harrington.  Get your team together and get registered!  Check-in begins at 4:30 pm and the race starts at 5:00 pm. 

Saturday, July 24th

·        Grand Parade throughout Downtown Beaufort.  The parade will run throughout downtown between 10:00am and 12:00pm. 

·        Air Show at Waterfront Park.  Enjoy this anticipated event from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm, including the two stunt planes and parachutists!

Sunday, July 25th

·        Blessing of the Fleet and Parade of Boats along the Beaufort River at Waterfront Park.  From 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm, register your boat and parade it for all to see as the festival comes to a close!

 

Nightly Entertainment

Friday, July 16th

·        Parris Island Marine Band at Waterfront Park.  Free of charge and begins with the opening ceremonies at 7:00 pm.

Saturday, July 17th

·        Rodney Atkins, featuring Lainey Wilson at Waterfront Park.  Tickets are $30 and the show begins at 7:00 pm.

Sunday, July 18th

·        A Teen Dance (for ages 13 to 17) with entertainment by Veteran’s Pride Entertainment Services at Waterfront Park.  Tickets are $10 and the event will be held from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm.

Monday, July 19th

·        “Motown Monday” with entertainment from Deas-Guys at Waterfront Park.  Tickets are $15 and the show begins at 8:00 pm.

Tuesday, July 20th

·        “Island Time Tuesday” with entertainment from The Tsunami Wave Riders at Waterfront Park. Tickets are $5 and the show begins at 8:00 pm.  This is also military and first responder appreciation night!  Anyone with an active ID will get free admission. 

Wednesday, July 21st

·        A talent show!  Hosted by the Preceptor Omega Chapter of Beta Signa Phi Sorority, at Waterfront Park.  Admission is $10, or free for anyone wearing the official 2019 64th Annual Water Festival T-Shirt.  The show will start at 6:00 pm. 

Thursday, July 22nd

·        A Lowcountry Supper with entertainment by Andrew Beam, The Whistlers, and Chris Jones, at Waterfront Park.  Tickets are $15 and supper will be served from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm.

Friday, July 23rd

·        “Rockin’ the River” with entertainment by Nightrain and Steel Rail Express at Waterfront Park.  Tickets are $15 and the show will begin at 8:00pm.

Saturday, July 24th

·        The annual Commodore’s Ball with entertainment by The Tim Clark Band at Waterfront Park.  Tickets are $10 and the show will begin at 8:00 pm.
