Veterans Day Events Around Beaufort

It’s a time to honor and remember those who have served to protect our freedom and the American way of life. November 11th is set aside to honor all these heroes and Beaufort is doing just that in many ways. Here are the events taking place around our area for you to participate in and thank our Veterans:

Veterans Day Parade- Downtown Beaufort

Parade line-up at 8:30 am

Parade- 10:00 am- 11:45 am

The parade route starts in front of the Beaufort National Cemetery and will head down Boundary Street, curve onto Bay Street, and end at the intersection of Boundary and Bladen Streets. 

 

A Salute to Service: Military Appreciation

Naval Heritage Park, Port Royal

1:00 – 4:00 pm

A free community event to honor active duty, retired, and veteran service members.

  • Parris Island Marine Corps Band
  • Military & Community Leader Presentations
  • Free hot dogs to the first thousand with military ID
  • Food Trucks & Dessert Vendors
  • Kids Playground and Activities
  • Business Supporters Market with Give-Aways

Start time:  9:00 am

Parade from Boundary Street to Bladen Street

Fish Fry after Parade- $10/plate

Free books for the children
